It is being reported that Disney has brought in Pixar creators to consult with them on the re-shoots that need to be done for Walt Disney Pictures’ “TRON: Legacy” movie. The Pixar members that were invited over to the Disney studios included producers John Lasseter and Ed Catmull, director Brad Bird and screenwriter Michael Arndt.
Word is that “TRON: Legacy” has great visuals, but that it is not pulling at the emotional strings of the audience that has viewed it as Disney would like it to.
Disney president of production, Sean Bailey, said about the recent work with Pixar:
We were very fortunate that Pixar wanted to play a part in it.

The first international movie poster from Germany for the new Walt Disney Pictures movie “Tron: Legacy” has leaked onto the internet and in the poster it says that the film won’t hit Germany until January of 2011, while in the United States the movie opens on December 17, 2010.

The excitement for ‘Tron:Legacy’ continues to build as the December 17th release date draws closer. Walt Disney Pictures has released a new billboard for the movie and it is amazing, just like all of the other pictures and trailer.
Also, the Walt Disney World Resort will reskin its Epcot monorail with shots of the lightcycles from the movie. Possibly this month, resort visitors will see this on the monorails.
‘Tron:Legacy’ is a 3D high-tech adventure set in a digital world that’s unlike anything ever captured on the big screen. Sam Flynn (GARRETT HEDLUND), the tech-savvy 27-year-old son of Kevin Flynn (JEFF BRIDGES), looks into his father’s disappearance and finds himself pulled into the digital world of Tron where his father has been living for 25 years. Along with Kevin’s loyal confidant Qora (OLIVIA WILDE), father and son embark on a life-and-death journey of escape across a visually-stunning cyber universe that has become far more advanced and exceedingly dangerous.
