Big news for fans of Disney‘s “Phineas and Ferb!” It was announced earlier this year that show creators Dan Povenmire and Jeff “Swampy” Marsh were developing a feature length “Phineas and Ferb” movie to be released in theaters July 26, 2013. Now, news has surfaced that none other than Pixar’s Michael Arndt (Toy Story 3, Little Miss Sunshine, The Untitled Pixar Movie That Takes You Inside The Mind) has been signed on to write a draft of the script.

Produced by Mandeville Films (The Muppets), the movie is expected to be a mix of live action and animation. There is no word yet on the plot of the film.
