Nicole Anderson spilled the details in a new interview, which you can check out below, about her work life after the Disney Channel Original Series “JONAS L.A.,” which was canceled.
It turns out Nicole will be putting in a lot more work on the set of the ABC Family show “Make It Or Break It,” where fans will get a whole new look at her character. She is also really excited because her new movie “Mean Girls 2” is set to air on ABC Family in January 2011!
The Jonas Brothers’ Disney Channel Original Series “JONAS L.A.” has been canceled after just 2 seasons. We had a feeling this was going to happen, and not just because the show was only getting around 3.7 million viewers per episode rather than the 4-7 million viewers per episode that some of the other shows on the network get.
We also had a feeling that the Jonas Brothers were a bit too busy to film another season of the show. Even though we’re going to miss “JONAS L.A.” airing on the Disney Channel we can’t wait to see all of the new projects that the guys, Nick, Joe and Kevin, have more time to work on now that they are not releasing any music under the Jonas Brothers label or filming for the Disney Channel.
We know Joe is working on solo music and television shows, and that Nick is working on guest starring on TV shows and in the future will release more music, and we know that Kevin will concentrate on married life for a while. But, we would love to see where these guys are 6 months from now and what awesome projects they are working on! What about you?
Are you bummed “JONAS L.A.” was canceled?
…so far.
While Disney normally announces that a show will be getting another season before the previous season ends, this has not happened yet with the Disney Channel Original Series “JONAS L.A” starring the Jonas Brothers, Nicole Anderson and Chelsea Staub. The show just finished its second season and many fans still have their fingers crossed that the show will continue even though it hasn’t been announced yet.
While we would love to see a third season of “JONAS L.A.” we are pretty skeptical. Not only have the guys come out and said that they are all super busy, as always, but they have explained more in detail the upcoming projects they are all working on – something they don’t normally do. This leads us to believe that they are moving away from the Disney Channel and are working on promoting themselves and their new projects as much as they can to carry their fan base with them as they disperse from the network.
So far we know that Joe Jonas will be guest starring in a number of TV shows as well as working on his own TV project along with famous actor Tom Hanks. We also know that Joe has been working on his own solo music apart from the “Jonas Brothers” band with his brothers Nick and Kevin.
Nick Jonas has been returning to his Broadway roots, and while in a recent interview he said he wasn’t working on any new music right now, we can see that happening in the near future if his schedule is freed up from working on his Disney show and his band with Joe and Kevin. We also know that Nick wants to get into politics, and this is the perfect time for him to begin working on that while he continues to act through guest starring on TV shows here and there.
As far as Kevin Jonas, he is newly married and we are sure he would love to relax and spend some quality time with his wife Danielle Jonas. Not only do we know the couple would like to have kids in the near future, we also know that they hope to work together on a number of other projects in their lives, including perhaps a cook book! We can also see Kevin becoming the host of a TV show or guest starring in various TV roles himself on and off while he continues to concentrate on his wife and his family.
We are sure that years down the road the JoBros will do a tribute tour together and perhaps even return to Disney as producers of a new series, but for right now unless the Disney Channel announces a third season of “JONAS L.A.” soon, we think this may be the end of the Jonas Brothers on the network for a while!
How do you feel about that? Do you agree, or disagree? Weigh in with your opinion in the comments section!
