Actor Neal McDonough revealed to MovieWeb that the sequel to Marvel’s “Captain America” will begin filming later this year. Here’s Neal’s quote:
Yeah, they’re planning (to go into production for) Captain America 2 for the end of this year, because Marvel does one film at a time. So they’re going to do Thor 2 and as soon as Thor has wrapped, they’ll do Cap 2.

Disney is using their ownership of Marvel and The Muppets to promote both “Captain America” and “The Muppets” movie in one “fowl” swoop. The new post for “The Muppets” features the character Sam The Eagle dressed up as Captain America. Marvel’s “Captain America: The First Avenger” arrived in theaters on July 22nd while “The Muppets” will arrive on November 23rd. What do you think of the new poster that promotes both films? On July 19th Chris Hemsworth (Marvel’s “Thor”) and his wife Elsa Pataky attended the premiere of “Captain America: The First Avenger.” The event took place at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, California and Chris showed up to support his fellow Marvel movie actor Chris Evans who starred in the film.

Vanessa Hudgens wore a 70s-style dress to the “Captain America: The First Avenger” movie premiere on July 19th. The premiere took place at the el Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, California and a number of stars showed up for the event, including Vanessa’s “High School Musical” co-star Lucas Grabeel!
