Billy Ray Cyrus On Lopez Tonight August 2010

Billy Ray Cyrus is set to appear on late night talk show Lopez Tonight on August 3, 2010 where he will talk about what he has been up to.

Currently, the fourth and final season of “Hannah Montana” is airing on the Disney Channel, but the stars of the show have already taped all of the episodes so Billy Ray has more time on his hands to spend with his family, including daughter Miley Cyrus, and working on new projects.

Billy Ray has no additional projects listed in his IMDB account so we will be tuning in to see if he announces anything new!

Selena Gomez Dream Out Loud Display In Kmart Stores

The Dream Out Loud Facebook Page, which promotes Selena Gomez’s new clothing line, recently posted these photos showing fans what the display of Selena’s new clothes would look like in Kmart stores when it debuts tomorrow, August 1st.

We are definitely planning on heading to our local Kmart to pick up some of the new Dream Out Loud Line! What about you? What do you think of the displays?

Zac Efron “Fire” Movie

In a new interview with MTV, Zac Efron talks about his upcoming movie “Fire,” which he is set to star in as well as is rumored to be executive producing. In the movie, Zac will play a college student who is recruited by the CIA for the government to determine if it is useful to train average, everyday people, to be part of the CIA.

Reports have surfaced that Miley Cyrus’ new movie “LOL: Laughing Out Loud,” which she is filming along with actress Demi Moore, will move filming from Detroit, Michigan over to Birmingham, Michigan sometime next week. I said, ‘I’m not going to take off my heels. You’re short. Embrace it.’ He’s getting taller, though.

Disney Has Finally Sold Miramax Films!

It may have taken a while, but the deal is officially finalized. Disney has announced that they have sold Miramax Films to Filmyard Holdings LLC and its partners Ron Tutor and Tom Barrack. Miramax sold for $660 million.

Disney President and CEO Bob Iger said about the sale:

Although we are very proud of Miramax’s many accomplishments, our current strategy for Walt Disney Studios is to focus on the development of great motion pictures under the Disney, Pixar and Marvel brands. We are delighted that we have found a home for the Miramax brand and Miramax’s very highly regarded motion picture library.

While Ron added:

I am delighted and honored to acquire the Miramax library. On behalf of my partners Tom Barrack and Colony Capital, we look forward to sharing this high quality content with the world in every form of media for many years to come.

We’re interested to see what the future holds for Miramax!
