Both Taylor Swift and Zac Efron will be on The Ellen Show on February 21, 2012! The duo will be promoting their new film “The Lorax,” which arrives in theaters on March 2, 2012.

The two play love interests in the movie, so of course rumors have been spreading lately that the two are an item in real life. We’re not sure if we believe the rumors, do you?

Zac Efron and Taylor Swift both voice characters in the new Dr. Seuss animated movie “The Lorax.” In the movie the duo’s characters definitely share some feelings, with Zac’s character Ted going on his journey to find the trees that Taylor’s character Audrey paints on the back of her home because he wants to impress her.

You have to admit, the rumors swirling that the duo are dating are perfectly timed since “The Lorax” will arrive in theaters on March 2, 2012. Also, if there are rumors that the two are dating in real life it a, makes people more excited to see them date in the animated film, and b, it puts their names in the media more than it would otherwise, which leads media outlets to talk about the duo’s upcoming movie.
