Aww, Selena Gomez took to her Facebook account with a heartfelt message to her fans about their support of her Disney Channel Original Series “Wizards Of Waverly Place.” The finale of the show was over a week ago, bummer!

Congratulations to the cast and crew of the Disney Channel Original Series “Wizards of Waverly Place” – 9.8 viewers tuned in for the finale of the show. This number made the finale the series’ #1 telecast ever!

We’re so sad that the show is off the air, but the Disney Channel has promised that it will rerun on the channel!

The finale of the hit Disney Channel Original Series “Wizards of Waverly Place” aired last night, and it’s no surprise that Selena Gomez’s character Alex Russo was named the family wizard, meaning she got to keep her powers. What was surprising though was that Selena wasn’t the only character who got to remain a wizard. Her brother Justin Russo, played by David Henrie, also got to keep his powers by becoming headmaster at the WizTech school.

Sadly though, the third Russo sibling, Max Russo played by Jake T. Austin, had to give up his powers. Lucky for him though he became the new owner of the family’s sub shop.

It has been speculated that Victoria Beckham’s daughter Harper Seven Beckham was named after a character from the Disney Channel Original Series “Wizards of Waverly Place,” but there doesn’t have to be any speculation about how cute Harper is! The adorable baby and her mommy are in New York City for Fashion Week!

The duo were photographed on September 8th when they stopped for lunch at the Plaza Hotel. Adorable!

Alex’s boyfriend Mason, played by Gregg Sulkin, gets upset and winds up confronting Chase about the rumor.

Be sure to tune in to the Disney Channel on May 13, 2011 at 8pm ET/PT for a brand new episode of “Wizards of Waverly Place” titled “Magic Unmasked.” In the new episode Alex meets her childhood hero, a former professional wrestler Muy Macho. Alex realizes that she is the reason that Muy is retired and she spends her time trying to convince him to return to the ring.

Zeke then persuades Justin to use his powers to make him the ultimate contender against Muy Macho!

In the episode “America’s Got Talent” runner-up Jackie Evancho performs at Tribeca Prep’s “Spirit of America Play,” which gives Harper a run for her money as she takes the stage for the first time! Also in the episode Alex and Justin work to find a way to change Max back to himself before Professor Crumbs realizes that they accidentally turned him into a girl.
