In the world of Disney Star Cole Sprouse the Twilight Saga has no place. The Disney Channel “Suite Life On Deck” star says that he doesn’t get the whole obsession of everybody being so crazy over Twilight and that if your looking for a good obsession try Nabisco Fig Newtons!
Cole says this after reading only the first paragraph of one of the books in the series and says that his brother Dylan Sprouse agrees with him. At least we know he has done his research on the subject, lol.

Star of the upcoming Disney Channel original movie “16 Wishes” Debby Ryan has been working on music off and on for a little while now and we can finally hear a preview of the new track “Open Eyes” that features her brother Chase Ryan on the song with her.

When it comes to the shows viewers are watching more on the Disney Channel you would think that because you can find Hannah Montana merchandise on almost every street corner of the world that Hannah Montana played by Miley Cyrus would be the biggest show by far on the Disney Channel in terms of ratings, but since 2008 Hannah Montana has taken a back seat.
Brenda Song who plays London Tipton on the Disney Channel show “The Suite Life on Deck” has actually been the queen of the Disney Channel for the last two years, beating out Hannah Montana by almost three times as many viewers watching the show than those that watch Miley Cyrus as Hannah Montana. Don’t get us wrong, Hannah Montana is a brand, and a brand that makes bucket loads of money a year for Disney that consumers buy into much more so than “The Suite Life on Deck,” as the central character of Hannah Montana is one person with a supporting cast that’s main focus is the central character.
As for “The Suite Life on Deck” it has a handful of central characters that play into the life of two brothers Zack and Cody played by Dylan and Cole Sprouse with the supporting cast all having their own stories going on while supporting the two brothers characters.
In the world outside of the Disney Channel we would have to say that Miley Cyrus surpasses Brenda Song in terms of exposure as Miley has had great success in music, movies and an extensive product line, which is something Brenda Song hasn’t been able to capitalize on yet.
With the Miley Cyrus’ departure from the Disney Channel after the final season of Hannah Montana airs starting in July 2010 we might start to see the light thrown in Brenda Song’s direction as there won’t be so much emphasis on Miley Cyrus anymore.

The Disney Channel original series “The Suite Life On Deck” will air a new episode entitled “Break Up In Paris” that will air on the Disney Channel June 18, 2010 at 8/7c. In the episode the S.S. Tipton docks in Paris as Bailey and Cody celebrate their one-year anniversary while Zack and Woody are chased through Paris by art thieves. The title has us a little nervous as we think that Bailey and Cody might break up, but we will just have to wait until June 18th to see what happens on what we are sure is going to be an interesting a fun episode.

The paparazzi spotted Disney Star Brenda Song out and about after strolling around Beverly Hills, CA and we have to say we are loving the look. Brenda has been recently linked to dating Trace Cyrus the brother of Disney Star Miley Cyrus.
Brenda Song has also just been announced as the spokesperson for Disney Cruise Line Environmental Program which is a video titled “Behind the Waves” that greets guests as they board Disney ships. Read more about it here…

On Friday, May 14th Disney Channel’s “The Suite Life On Deck” recently reached it’s best numbers in nearly three months (since 2/26/10) with 3.6 million total viewers, and it’s best numbers in over two months (since 3/5/10) with kids 6-11 with 1.5 million viewers. The show aired from 8:00 – 8:25 pm. Congratulations to the cast and crew of the show!
