We can’t wait to see the new shows and movies and the special episodes of some of our favorite Disney Channel series “Hannah Montana,” “Wizards of Waverly” and “Sonny With A Chance.” What about you?
Hmm we wonder if this was intentionally set up to be a burn on Selena Gomez’s part, but one can never be sure…Disney Consumer Products has announced that they will be releasing the new Sonny Munroe clothing to Target stores on August 1st – the same day that Selena’s new clothing line, which she has been promoting for months, will be released at Kmart stores.
We just heard about the new Disney clothing line the other day, but it seems that a lot of planning has gone into it. The label is called “D-Signed” and the first line of clothes will be based on Demi Lovato’s character “Sonny Munroe” from the Disney Channel Original Series “Sonny With A Chance.”
A second line of Sonny Munroe clothes will hit Target stores over the holiday season and then the next line to release is said to be catered to the style of Selena’s character Alex Russo from the Disney Channel Original Series “Wizards of Waverly Place.”
We know the ladies aren’t feuding anymore, but we can’t help but think that it wouldn’t hurt Disney is they decided to release Demi’s line a few days later rather than fight with Selena for sales on opening day. Granted, Demi’s line is set to fit only tweens, while Selena’s should fit teens and young adults.

Disney’s Consumer Products division has announced a new clothing line inspired by the “Sonny With A Chance” lead character Sonny Munroe portrayed by Demi Lovato on the Disney Channel. There is no news yet on where the new clothing line will be sold, but we do have photos of it, and we think it looks really fun and girly, but at the same time it has a bit of rock and punk aspects! If you missed part one of the Disney Channel original show Sonny With A Chance “Falling For The Falls” that aired on June 13, 2010 you can check it out here. For those of you who already know what happens in part one than here are some pictures from the episode along with a part two partial episode breakdown.
In “Falling For The Falls” part two the studio decides to end the feud between the two shows “Mackenzie Falls” and “So Random” and Chad is set up on a date with Tawni, “Chawni” and quickly become the Hollywood it couple. Although Sonny and Chad have been dating secretly for a few weeks and have been hiding it from everybody. Sonny, who isn’t a fan of the new “it” couple shows up at the Makenzie Falls party with her own date. Who could Sonny’s date be?
Demi Lovato took to twitter to show everybody a picture of her in a white dress looking absolutely gorgeous and very tan, she must be soaking up the sun on her vacation this week. Demi also tweeted a message along with the picture,
Me wearing white….. This is rare. Very rare.
Over the weekend Demi performed at a Microsoft Store grand opening and also colored her hair check out the pictures here.
In a recent on-air interview with Radio Disney, Sterling Knight and Brandon Smith told stories of their Brandon’s gold afro and how when Sterling was 12 he was cut from his football picture because he frosted his tips.
