Here is one of the new characters from Disney/Pixar’s upcoming animated sequel movie “Cars 2.” The character is named Lewis Hamilton and you can read his description below:
“With his striking metallic black and yellow paint scheme, Lewis will represent Great Britain at the World Grand Prix. His car also carries the flag of Grenada, home to his family who emigrated to Britain in the 1950s. His unrivaled technical skills, natural speed ability and cool, karate-inspired attitude make him a powerful contender too.”
Get ready to meet Lewis in theaters on June 24, 2011.
Here is a brand new movie poster for Disney/Pixar’s upcoming animated sequel movie “Cars 2.” The movie stars many of the same characters as the original “Cars” film, but there are also a ton of new characters that audiences will get to meet when the movie arrives in theaters on June 24, 2011.

Disney/Pixar has teamed with Sate Farm for a 30-city “Cars 2” Agents On A Mission Tour. The tour consists of a venue being set up with a number of life-sized, remote-controlled “Cars 2″ character models for fans to meet and greet with as well as a bunch of other fun activities for visits, including:
- Giveaways
- e-photo opportunities
- Games
- Video kiosk
You can visit Disney.com/cars to learn more about the upcoming tour dates, but some of the cities being visited include:

Actress and talk show host Ellen DeGeneres makes her point very clear in the video below, which can be found on her website, that she would like Disney/Pixar to make a sequel to the hit 2003 animated movie “Finding Nemo.” In the original movie Ellen voiced the popular character Dory, and we’re assuming she would like to do the same in her proposed “Finding Nemo 2″ movie. Disney/Pixar has released the following description of the “Cars 2” character Luigi:
“Luigi is a big-hearted Italian Fiat 500. A tire virtuoso and owner of Luigi’s Casa Della Tires, he and sidekick Guido join Lightning and Mater on Team Lightning McQueen for the World Grand Prix. Luigi, a fanatic for all things Italian, is particularly enchanted with Ferrari race cars. When the competition takes the team to his hometown of Porto Corsa, Italy, Luigi’s family welcomes the gang from Radiator Springs in a big, passionate Italian way: Amore!”
