Disney Channel and “High School Musical” star Ashley Tisdale signed copies of her new Disney original movie “Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure” at the Barnes & Noble at “The Grove” in Los Angeles, California on April 19, 2011.
The new movie “Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure” was released on Tuesday April 19, 2011 and is a spin off of the three popular “High School Musical” Disney Channel original movies that also starred Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Corbin Bleu, Lucas Grabeel and of course Ashley Tisdale.

Alright, we get it, Vanessa Hudgens is older and wants to be taken seriously in the acting industry, but really, how hard is it to just get over the fact that you were made famous by the Disney Channel and maybe, just maybe be thankful for that role and your fans for five seconds. Vanessa revealed in an interview with the LA Times that her young fans are “obnoxious” when it comes to her HSM role as Gabriella Montez. Here’s the quote:
Teenagers come up to me and are obnoxious about the whole thing, like, ‘Oh my God, you’re that girl! You’re that girl from the Disney Channel.’ And I’m like, ‘I was that girl.
Um, if they want to think you “are” that girl still, and they want to spend money on your current products, movies and whatever else your face is plastered on, then we don’t see the problem. Do you?
“High School Musical” co-stars and BFFs Ashley Tisdale and Vanessa Hudgens posed together on the pink carpet of Ashley’s new Disney movie “Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure.” The movie is a spinoff of the “High School Musical” franchise and focuses on Ashely’s HSM character Sharpay Evans as she moves to the big city and has to learn to live in the real world.
We’re absolutely loving Ashley’s event outfit, but we have a hard time saying the same for Vanessa’s. It’s a cute outfit, but we’d like it better if she was wearing it out to dinner or to a club, not to a movie premiere. What do you think of it?
Vanessa’s ex-boyfriend, and former “High School Musical” co-star, Zac Efron also attended the movie premiere to support Ashley. We hope there wasn’t any awkward moments between Zac and V!

We’re loving Zac Efron’s laid-back pink carpet style! And, we have to admit, we’re VERY happy his hair seems to be growing out after he had a buzz cut a while back for a movie he was filming! What about you?
