Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama have broken up again. The duo dated after Joe Jonas broke up with Demi to be with Ashley Greene in 2010, but they broke up the first time when Demi entered a treatment facility until early 2011. Now, Demi and Wilmer have split again with a source claiming that the reason behind the break up was their 12 year age difference.
Plus, Joe and Wilmer hung out on New Year’s Eve without Demi, which might have struck a chord with the former Disney star.

A luncheon was held in Demi Lovato’s honor by Seventeen Magazine, since Demi is on the cover of their new issue. While one of Demi’s best friends Selena Gomez couldn’t make it to the event, she did make sure to send a sweet email that was read to the crowd. Here it is:
“You have courage—courage to want to change to be better for yourself. The amount of respect I have for you is indescribable. You have gone through one of the hardest chapters in your life and I praise you for wanting to share that journey and walk away from it all as a better person. Thank you for trusting me and wanting me there during that hard time. I hope you know how much I love you and how proud I am of the role model that you have become.”

Instead of spending New Year’s Eve with his girlfriend Demi Lovato, Wilmer Valderrama rang in the New Year with Demi’s ex-boyfriend Joe Jonas. The two guys partied in Las Vegas while Demi was busy hosting the New Year’s Eve special on MTV in New York City.
What are your thoughts on this?
Demi Lovato revealed to Seventeen Magazine that she used to self-medicate with drugs and alcohol to feel better. However, she is now clean, sober and happy!
I’m not going to lie. I was self-medicating. I was doing things like drinking and using [drugs], like a lot of teens do to numb their pain…[But now] I don’t drink, I don’t do drugs, I don’t throw up after my meals, I don’t starve myself. There’s nothing that I do that I feel ashamed of. I think sober is sexy. It’s cool. I think it’s way cooler to be above the influence than under the influence. Now on Friday nights, if I want to go hang out with friends, I go hang out with friends. If I want to stay in and be in the hot tub and have people over to watch movies, I do that. I have more fun doing that than I did making the stupid decisions that I did back in the day.
We’re glad Demi is doing so much better now!
