A very happy birthday is in order for Disney’s David Henrie who turns 21 years old today. The star, who was born on July 11, 1989, is best known for his role in the Disney Channel Original Series “Wizards of Waverly Place” where he stars alongside popular actress Selena Gomez.
David recently took a trip to Cabo, Mexico with a number of his friends, many of whom are Disney stars as well, where they celebrated the big 2-1 before the actual date. Last night, David went out to celebrate with his family.

Disney Channel has just announced that they will be picking up the Emmy Award winning Disney Channel original series “Wizards of Waverly Place” for a fourth season. The President of Entertainment and Chief Creative Officer of Disney Channels Worldwide, Gary Marsh had this to say about the show,
The Emmy win this past year confirmed what we already believed — this is a cast of superstar comedic talent, backed by an inspired team of writers and producers.

It was just announced that there will be a sequel to the first Wizards Of Waverly Place movie and that the script will be written by Dan Berendsen who wrote the first Wizards movie and has also worked on such films as “Hannah Montana: The Movie” and “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam.”
With those movies under his belt we can bet that the sequel to the first Wizards of Waverly Place movie will be great fun. There is no release date set for the film but check back to get the latest news on the sequel.

Get ready for a new episode of the hit Disney Channel Original Series “Wizards of Waverly Place” set to air on May 14th at 8pm ET/PT.
The episode is titled “Western Show” and is about Alex and Justin Russo sending Mr. Laritate back to the Old West after he is fired from his job by Superintendent Clanton.
But why do they send him back? To make him realize that he should fight for his job of course!

On April 15th David Henrie and his brother Lorenzo were taken into police custody after a fight erupted at Universal City Walk in California.
The police were called to the scene to intervene when the fight got out of hand and both David and his brother were cited for a misdemeanor offense. They father picked them up at the police station in the morning on April 16th.
David Henrie’s rep released a statement to Just Jared Jr. on April 16th about the alleged fight:
“Contrary to the reports that have circulated in the media, neither David Henrie nor his 16-year-old brother Lorenzo were trying to start a fight last night at Universal City Walk. In fact, they took appropriate measures to avoid an altercation. Unfortunately, private security guards released the instigators, and became extremely aggressive with Lorenzo.”
“When David attempted to protect his younger brother, the security guards became equally aggressive with him. Numerous witnesses at the scene confirmed that David and Lorenzo were simply trying to protect themselves from an unjustified use of force.”
Probably not the best thing for David’s Disney image, but at least his rep is working to clear it up!
A new episode of the Disney Channel Original Series “Wizards of Waverly Place” is on the way titled “The Good, The Bad And The Alex.”
In the episode Alex Russo, played by Disney’s Selena Gomez, is caught off guard when she discovers that her friend Stevie is leading a wizard revolutions! Alex decides to help Stevie with her quest to make sure that no wizard ever has to give up their powers again, but Justin and Harper aren’t on board with Alex’s decision!
