The Pirates of the Caribbean ride at the Disneyland theme park celebrated its 44th anniversary on March 18th. The ride originally opened at the park on March 18, 1967.

We can’t wait for “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides,” the fourth film in the “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise based on the popular Disney attraction, to hit theaters on May 20, 2011. What about you?
Demi Lovato is officially back at home and out of treatment after leaving the Jonas Brothers World Tour / Camp Rock 2 Tour early to deal with some personal matters. Demi has rejoined the social networking site Twitter and she seems to be going out and about much more often, spending time with friends and doing things that relax her and that she can have a fun time with – including visiting Disneyland!

Disney’s Haunted Mansion ride at the Magic Kingdom at the Walt Disney World Resort has been given a facelift! The ride was revamped in the line queue area where now the experience is much more interactive for park guests.
Visitors to the Haunted Mansion who are waiting their turn aboard the ride can now see a number of new props in line, some of which make noises that they can control – through playing an organ or pressing musical instruments displayed on a wall.

Exciting news for anyone taking a trip to Disneyland in the near future! At the Disneyland Festival Arena park guests will soon be able to catch an exclusive extended 3D film sequence sneak peek at “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” as well as participate in a great adventure with Captain Jack Sparrow and a number of other “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” characters.
The sneak peek will take place on weekend nights from March 25-May 30 and all week long from April 15-May 1.

Disney’s The Little Mermaid – Ariel’s Undersea Adventure attraction will be opening at the Disney California Adventure park on June 3, 2011. In the video below you can see the progress that has been made on the ride, including with the character Ursula.
In the clip you will learn about the animatronic Ursula figure, which stands 7.5 feet tall and 12 feet wide!
