On February 13, 2012 Disney Junior will air the “Jake And The Never Land Pirates” special “Jake And The Never Land Pirates: Peter Pan Returns.” Then, the movie will arrive in stores on DVD on April 3, 2012. Here’s a description of the special:
“Peter Pan is back––but his shadow is missing! When Peter loses his shadow while playing a game of Catch-Me-If-You-Can, he returns to Never Land to seek help from his kid pirate friend Jake. Embarking on one of his most daring and exciting adventures ever, Jake and his kid pirate pals, Izzy and Cubby, along with lookout parrot Skully, must use teamwork to find Peter’s shadow and return it to its rightful owner. However, their mission is nearly thwarted by the fiendish Captain Hook, and his bumbling first mate Mr. Smee. But bravery and justice win the day and Jake and his Never Land pirate crew once again reveal what it takes to become heroes, in Disney’s ‘Jake and the Never Land Pirates: Peter Pan Returns.’”

“Yo Ho, You Ready to Find Jake’s Shadow?” – Taking a cue from Peter’s shadow, now Jake’s shadow has run off and disappeared. Help Izzy and Cubby find Jake’s shadow by discovering clues to where the shadow is hiding. Use Jake’s sword (on pack) to help in your adventure. Learn about pirate lore along the way (just where did the name “doubloon” come from anyway?).

On May 13, 2011 there is a new episode of “Imagination Movers” titled “The Prince Frog” playing on Disney Junior. In the episode a handsome prince asks the Movers to help turn him back into a frog! This is an interesting twist on the popular fairy tale and we can’t wait to see how it all turns out!
The episode was written by Jennifer Heftler and directed by Joe Menendez. Will you be watching?

Tune in to the Disney Junior programming block on the Disney Channel on May 9, 2011 to watch a new episode of “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse” titled “Goofy’s Giant Adventure.” In the episode, Goofy is on a quest for a magical elixir that will cure Willie the Giant’s tummy ache. Along his journey, Goofy meets a number of enchanting fairytale characters.
“Goody’s Giant Adventure” was written by Don Gillies and directed by Howy Parkins. Be sure to let us know if you will be tuning in for the new episode!
A second season has been announced for the Disney Channel’s Disney Junior program “Jake and the Never Land Pirates.” The show is the number one series on TV among kids 2-5 and boys 2-5.
The show revolves around a character named Jake and his friends Izzy and Cubby. The group has a number of adventures in Never Land where they have to try to outwit “Peter Pan” characters Captain Hook and Smee.
“Jake and the Never Land Pirates” is executive produced by Rob LaDuca (“Mickey Mouse Clubhouse”) and the producer/story editor is Mark Seidenberg. Kelly Ward is the voice director and Howy Parkins is the director. The show is a production of Disney Television Animation.
