Aww, Selena Gomez took to her Facebook account with a heartfelt message to her fans about their support of her Disney Channel Original Series “Wizards Of Waverly Place.” The finale of the show was over a week ago, bummer!

You Guys, I honestly can’t thank you enough for being a part of the best 4 years of my life! Wizards was SO important to me and I’m SO happy so many of you watched the series come to an end. I loved the whole experience and I’m so grateful for it. I love you guys! I hope to continue to do more things you guys enjoy watching!

Congratulations to the cast and crew of the Disney Channel Original Series “Wizards of Waverly Place” – 9.8 viewers tuned in for the finale of the show. This number made the finale the series’ #1 telecast ever!

We’re so sad that the show is off the air, but the Disney Channel has promised that it will rerun on the channel!

The finale of the hit Disney Channel Original Series “Wizards of Waverly Place” aired last night, and it’s no surprise that Selena Gomez’s character Alex Russo was named the family wizard, meaning she got to keep her powers. What was surprising though was that Selena wasn’t the only character who got to remain a wizard. Her brother Justin Russo, played by David Henrie, also got to keep his powers by becoming headmaster at the WizTech school.

Sadly though, the third Russo sibling, Max Russo played by Jake T. Austin, had to give up his powers. Lucky for him though he became the new owner of the family’s sub shop.
