Here is the “Austin & Ally” premiere schedule press release from the Disney Channel:
“Opposites rock in “Austin & Ally,” a new comedy series about an unlikely friendship, singing, songwriting and the adventures of trying to achieve one’s dreams, premiering SUNDAY, DECEMBER 4 (8:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel. The series follows polar opposites – an extroverted musician/singer, and a brilliant yet shy songwriter – who combine their talents in an attempt to create a true musical tour-de-force. Starring are newcomer Ross Lynch as Austin, Laura Marano (“Without a Trace,” “Back to You”) as Ally, Raini Rodriguez (Disney’s “Prom,” “I’m in the Band”) as Trish and Calum Worthy (“Psych,” “Good Luck Charlie”) as Dez. Prior to the premiere of “Austin & Ally,” music sensation Justin Bieber performs “Mistletoe” from his upcoming holiday album, in an all-new episode of the hit series “So Random!”
In the premiere episode, Austin is eager to release another music video, so he puts the pressure on Ally to quickly finish the lyrics. However, in her haste to complete the song, she scribbles down the lyrics in illegible handwriting, prompting Dez and Trish – who are collecting props for the music video – to gather some strange items which they think correspond to Ally’s lyrics. When the odd collection of musical props and items begins arriving, they piece together the handwriting debacle and quickly work together to resolve the mix-up.
The multi-platform schedule is as follows:

Debby Ryan’s Disney Channel Original Series “Jessie” set was paid a visit by none other than celebrity power couple Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber. Selena has Tweeted recently that she misses her Disney Channel Original Series “Wizards of Waverly Place,” so it’s no surprise that she wanted to go back and visit the studio.
Here’s what Debby had to say about Selena and Justin visiting the set:
“You know they’re both obviously iconic. Beyond being iconic, they’re trailblazers in their own right, in their own empires. Especially with Justin Bieber, he didn’t start out with a microphone and say make me a pop star, he played drums, he played guitar and wrote songs. He was like lets do this. He has a heart for music, that’s why he is successful. Those are the kinds of people I love my kids [her 'Jessie' co-stars] looking up to. It was so cool and they were such dolls. What’s so cool about Justin is that while Selena was saying hi to her people and walking around and what not, he was in back taking calls, in the back kind of watching and observing, like the boyfriend.”
Do you think it’s cute that Selena and Justin do just about everything together? Let us know in the comments section!
“Phineas and Ferb” Co-creators Dan Povenmire and Jeff ‘Swampy’ Marsh got together to record an amazing song about their experience writing and animating Disney XD‘s hit show “Phineas and Ferb.” Recently, they created a music video to go along with the song – giving a behind-the-scenes look at the fun that goes into creating each episode of “Phineas and Ferb.”
Check out the great video below. Are you a fan of “Phineas and Ferb?” Do you want to become an animator?
Real life boyfriend and girlfriend Matt Prokop and Sarah Hyland were guests on the ABC morning show “Good Morning America” on October 20, 2011 to promote their new Disney Channel Original Movie “Geek Charming” that airs on November 11, 2011.
