On April 15, 2011 the Disney Channel Original Movie “Lemonade Mouth” premiered. The movie had tons of great original songs in it and you can check out the music video for the song “Breakthrough” from the movie in the video below.
Don’t worry if you missed “Lemonade Mouth” when it aired because it is heading to DVD on May 17, 2011!
Demi Lovato has announced that she is leaving the Disney Channel Original Series “Sonny With A Chance,” causing the show to undergo a name change since Demi starred as the lead character Sonny Munroe. The show will now be called “So Random” and will be more like a sketch comedy than an ongoing series.
Demi took to Twitter to comment on her departure from the Disney Channel in order to concentrate more closely on her music career with Hollywood Records (a label owned by Disney). Here’s what Demi Tweeted:

A brand new episode of the Disney Channel Original Series “Good Luck Charlie” will air on the Disney Channel on April 3, 2011 titled “Battle Of The Bands.” The episode will air at 8pm ET/PT.
In the episode Teddy and Skyler are set to compete against PJ and Emmett in a battle of the bands competition, however PJ and Skyler end up developing feelings for each other and they refuse to compete – uh oh! Also in the episode Gabe accepts an expensive gift from a wealthy friend and when Bob goes to return the gift he ends up enjoying the benefits himself. Meanwhile, Amy gets mistaken for an artistic genius thanks to Charlie!
