A new ABC Family Original Movie, “Cyberbully” will air on July 17, 2011 at 8pm ET/PT. The movie is part of the Delete Digital Drama initiative developed by ABC Family and Seventeen Magazine, which attempts to bring awareness to the youth issue of digital abuse and bullying.
“Cyberbully” stars Disney’s Emily Osment (“Hannah Montana”) as well as Kelly Rowan (“The OC”) and Kay Panabaker (“No Ordinary Family”).
The movie is about a character named Taylor Hillridge, played by Emily. Taylor is a teen girl who is the victim of online bullying and the movie depicts her struggles and what she learns from others in similar situations. Kelly plays the character Kris, Taylor’s mother, while Kay plays Taylor’s best friend.
