The Disney Channel has just announced a new show that will be coming to the network titled “A.N.T. Farm.” The show will begin production in 2011 and stars China McClain from “House of Payne” along with the following actors:
- Sierra McCormik (“Ramona and Beezus”)
- Jake Short (“Dexter”)
- Stefanie Scott (“Flipped”)
In the show China plays the character Chyna Sparks. Chyna and her friends are accepted into a gifted music program called Accelerated Natural Talent (ANT) at a local high school. Chyna and her fellow “ANTS” need to learn to navigate the halls of high school even though they are only middle-school-aged.
The “A.N.T. Farm” pilot was written by Dan Singer (“The Suite Life On Deck”) and directed by Bob Koherr (“Hannah Montana” and “Wizards of Waverly Place).

I love china in house of payne she’s funny. can’t wait to see it. They need a good disney show that i’ll actually watch.Hope it’s funny.and wondering when it’s coming out they said early 2011 but it’s like 1/3 done with the year?what’s the hold up. i want to see it
I watched A.N.T. farm with my daughters and thought that it was awful. The premise was middle school aged girls lying to their parents, sneaking to a high school party, drinking drinks that made their feet numb, stuffing shirts so one of the girls could look older, the boy ogled over the dumb high school blond, and its all surrounded by humor. I am so disgusted with these shows that grow little girls up to fast. Even the “beauty” of these girls is over the top. Perfect hair, makeup, and cloths. I think it may be time to cancel the Disney channel.
It’s OK BUT i miss the old disney channel that used to play winnie the pooh!!

China is so funny i saw ant farm and i have to say i love the beez wax that was actually the funniest part god i love that show now whens the next new episode!!!!!

The entire family loves this show. Great job China Anne and cast. My daughter sings all of the songs with the show. We love it.
