It is being reported that the Walt Disney Company has acquired Playdom, Inc – the second-largest maker of social games played on Facebook and MySpace. According to the reports, the Walt Disney Company paid an initial $563.2 for the company and has promised Playdom’s owners an additional $200 million if performance goals for the company are met.

Now that Disney owns the company, what sorts of games do you hope to see come from it? We’d love to see games based on our favorite Disney movies!

  1. Disney aquiring playdom was obviously not as glamerous as people hoped. There is no support for their games. No one replies to tickets, accounts get deleted by the developers (no reason given). Players are leaving. What a load. I spent $150 for credits and my account got deleted by this company. Disney and Playdom what a greedy bunch of people.
