Actress Zhang Ziyi is reportedly acting in, as well as producing, a new live-action, 3D movie based on Disney’s popular animated film “Mulan.” No other cast of the movie has been revealed yet, but we do know that the plotline will be similar to that of Disney’s movie, with the main character, Mulan, dressing up as a man in order to join the army in place of her father.
You may recognize Zhang for her work in the popular films “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon,” and “House of Flying Daggers,” but she has also been in a number of other movies.
We’re unsure if Disney will be distributing the movie, but we do know that they have invested a substantial amount of money in the film.
