Just like he did with “Alice In Wonderland,” director Tim Burton would like to remake the classic Disney movie “Sleeping Beauty” from the perspective of the evil witch, Maleficent – and it turns out Angelina Jolie is interested in the part!
When asked if she would consider playing Maleficent, Angie answered:
I would love to. It’s all new and being discussed, but I loved her when I was a little girl. She was my favorite. Tim Burton, the chance to work with him would be extraordinary.

Taylor Lautner Says “Twilight” Might Become A TV Series
I would totally watch a Sleeping Beauty remake, especially if it’s Tim Burton and Angelina Jolie as part of the project. Both of them are tremendous talents and I enjoy watching their works.
