Life & Style Magazine is reporting that Katy Perry told her friend backstage at the 2010 MuchMusic Awards show in Toronto, Canada in June that she thought Miley Cyrus would turn into the next Britney Spears after catching a glimpse of Miley’s outfits.
An onlooker told the magazine:
She looked to her friend and said, ‘Oh my God, poor girl.’ Katy said, ‘She’s Britney Spears all over again. It’s happening right before our eyes’ When her friend asked if she meant Lindsay Lohan, not Britney, Katy said, ‘No, she’s definitely headed the Britney route. It’s worse. Look at those outfits. It’s bad.’
