If you have heard the rumor that Miley Cyrus would be performing at the 2010 FIFA World Cup closing ceremonies, and you got all excited like we did, E! News reporter Ken Baker took to his Twitter to let everybody know that it wouldn’t be happening. Check out what he had to say below,

Miley Cyrus will NOT perform at World Cup closing ceremonies..just didn’t work with scheduling. She’ll be in DETROIT shooting LOL.

We are a little depressed that Miley won’t be performing, but just like how we loved following what fellow Disney star Selena Gomez was up to filming her new movie “Monte Carlo,” we’re excited to see what Miley Cyrus new film “Lol” is all about.
