I used to watch Hannah Montana and I like Miley’s character. But that is a show, show’s are not always the way things are in reality. I think she’s young and she’s suppose to be able to grow and people really need to step off the criticism. What she is becoming may be quite different and hard for some people to grasp but she’s still who she is, maybe not as innocent. But that’s what happens, and that’s the way it is. Every individual develops a level of mentality. How she promotes her music is her thing, nowadays a lot of celebrities do worse things to sell their talent or to just get publicity. Honestly, if I had to give an example, look at Anne Hathaway. She use to be this innocent girl who plays Princess Diaries then she started coming out with movies where she began bearing her stuff. During that time it was like a hip strategy to get higher ratings.
There’s many average joes and janes that do the same thing but they just don’t get put in the spotlight for the world to know because they’re not famous. So there is more pressure for Miley to develop into the mature grown person that she wants to become.
Bottom line, I think Miley should be proud of herself as long as she knows what she’s doing.
After Anne’s unexpected success in the PDs she was pressured into believing that to succeed she would have to move to more mature material. Taking her kit off was not the answer, if that were true every 18yr old porn star would have to be considered mature. Her record shows that none of her films since have equaled that early success at the box office. Whoever persuaded Anne to change her mind and make Havoc was no friend,by now one might have expected Anne to be ranked among the highest paid, but in a list published not long ago she never got a mention. Anne’s obsession with nudity may well be her undoing. What a pity that her undoubted Talent is being wasted.
i’m sorry i don’t agree. miley cyrus has more so gone crazy. there is a difference between growing up and becoming a sex symbol which is exactly what she has become. i don’t know what her problem is but she really needs to get a grip or she’s going down a dangerous path. how can you compare her to anne hathaway? anne is a grown up for one thing and she hasn’t done anything like miley, she is mature and she takes responsibility for her actions. miley used to be one to be admired but she has changed and in the wrong way.
And by the way alot of teen and twen girls like singers that do the tipe stuff miley is doing. Why do u think Ke$ha is so famouse.
