On April 15th David Henrie and his brother Lorenzo were taken into police custody after a fight erupted at Universal City Walk in California.
The police were called to the scene to intervene when the fight got out of hand and both David and his brother were cited for a misdemeanor offense. They father picked them up at the police station in the morning on April 16th.
David Henrie’s rep released a statement to Just Jared Jr. on April 16th about the alleged fight:
“Contrary to the reports that have circulated in the media, neither David Henrie nor his 16-year-old brother Lorenzo were trying to start a fight last night at Universal City Walk. In fact, they took appropriate measures to avoid an altercation. Unfortunately, private security guards released the instigators, and became extremely aggressive with Lorenzo.”
“When David attempted to protect his younger brother, the security guards became equally aggressive with him. Numerous witnesses at the scene confirmed that David and Lorenzo were simply trying to protect themselves from an unjustified use of force.”
Probably not the best thing for David’s Disney image, but at least his rep is working to clear it up!

“police custody” was not some downtown slammer. it was the Citywalk P.D. if there’s such thing. they didnt fight anyone. the cops had 16 year old lorenzo pinned on the ground and witnesses saw them punching him while holding his face into the pavement. david did what any brother would have done and tried to help his brother and i heard they gave him a few blows too. i hope someone got this on tape cuz the real “bad boys” were NOT the Henrie brothers. their father had to pick up lorenzo (minor) 2 hours later at citywalk. (Whatever happened to investigative reporting? these days if the story sells that’a all that counts. shame on reporters for failing the public. how was i able to get more factual info than you?)
