Cory Monteith and Katie Cassidy Join "Monte Carlo"

‘Glee’ star Cory Monteith and ‘Melrose Place’ star Kate Cassidy have joined Selena Gomez in the film ‘Monte Carlo’.

According to Reuters, “Gomez plays a girl who is mistaken for a socialite, resulting in her flying to Monte Carlo for a charity auction along with her best friend and her soon-to-be stepsister. The story kicks into adventure mode when a million-dollar necklace goes missing and the girls must scramble to find it.

Cassidy plays one of Gomez’s friends (Meester plays the other), a high school dropout who wants to see what the world has to offer. Monteith plays her football player boyfriend, who pursues her to Europe. MacDowell plays Gomez’s mother.”

Filming will start this spring in Budapest, Paris and Nice.
